Kadarka (2021) from Maurer winery (Fruška gora, Serbia).
Oszkar grows his vineyards following natural phylosophy in order to create harmonious conditions in the vineyard so that the autochthonous varieties show their full potential. Spontaneous fermentation in open vats on indigenous yeasts. Aged in used Hungarian oak casks for 9 months. Unfined and unfiltered.
No added sulphur.
In the glass it is light ruby red almost translucent.
The nose is medium(-) intensity and fruity with aromas of raspberry, cranberry, strawberry and a hint of spices and earthy notes.
On the palate it is fruity with flavors of strawberry, cranberries, spices and a hint of earthy flavors (beetroot juice).
Light body, vivid medium(+) acidity, fine tannins, medium alcohol and medium finish.
